12 December 2014 - G-Cloud Spend to end of November 2014

Spend for November 2014 has now been included. Highlights are:

Overall spend stats

• Total spend is £393m, with £298m so far in 2014 (£87m in 2013 and £7.1m in 2012).


• Spend with Small and Medium Sized Enterprises (SMEs) continues at pace - £143m so far this year compared with £42m in 2013. We are holding our forecast of SME spend for 2014 to £170m.


• Spend in November is a record £39m. Expect this to be revised upwards to around £41m when the December data is released.

Spread of the framework

• The number of customers continues to grow strongly - up 31 in November (bringing the total to 674).


• The number of suppliers is growing - up 14 in November (bringing the total to 442).

Forecasts

• We are increasing our forecast for 2014 to £330m (up from £310m in November and £250m in September). Average monthly spend is increasing by about £2m a month.


• The trend figure for spend has increased £4m to £34m. It topped £20m a month for the first time in April.
